An important resource for translators is Translation memory, a collection of translated sentence pairs, preferably from within the same domain as the translation task at hand. The best translation memories are the ones created by the translator herself or himself, for translation jobs repeating themselves, such as yearly reports, meeting agendas and protocols, etc.
In order to facilitate the use of translation memories, we here offer open sentence pair collections for Saami and other Nordic minority languages.
The collections are in the so-called tmx format, and can be found below (control-click (right-click) on the tmx file and download it).
The translation memory may be used in programs like the following
