Overview

All the words are analysed with dictionary form + grammatical tags. Each tag is introduced with a “+” sign. We thus have

bijlav bijjla+N+Sg+Acc
bådáv båhtet+V+Ind+Prs+Sg1

The tag scheme follows the Lule Saami (smj) standard and insights from J. Wilbur’s on-going work on Pite Saami

Note that you have to add the part of speech twice when you use the derivational tag:

gieresvuodav gieres+N+Der/State+N+Sg+Acc
